What is the easiest way to transfer sites between hosts. The databases are no problem, but the sites often have hundreds and thousands of files and my ftp programs keep bombing out.
I'm on a mac os x intel. Is there some program or command line method/utility to make this process easier?

As far i know. one have to back up all the data including email accounts.,and other mysql data, and then restoring it on another server is the basic way . but its better to consult with your hosting provider for best solution.

scp or rsync should do wonders :)
Your hosting provider would probably be the best one to ask, most are willing to assist without question!
